Everything in these chapters are just like the real world despite it is a true story. It is very unfortunate that Topthorn died but that is what happens in war. This book remind me of two books I've read that are both by Michael Morpurgo and they are called Wreck of the Zanzibar and The Butterfly lion. They are all touching, tearful, frightening and joyful and is very much like life; in life we cry, laugh and dream just like War Horse, The Butterfly Lion and Wreck of the Zanzibar.
